KINGSTON, Jamaica – Above All Links racing for the 11th occasion finally went by the post in front of rivals to release the maiden tag.
Racing with Dick Cardenas in the saddle, the Wayne DaCosta trainee set off on front from the gates opened and when the horses took the first turn in the event.
Down the backstretch Cardenas throttled Above All Links saving more than enough to pull away from rivals in the stretch.
Commandante Lunar (Linton Steadman) chased the winner for a long part of the race but had nothing left in the last two furlongs. Commandante Lunar was second and Qurandero third.
