The“Baby” stars down the straight in Caymanas Saturday second

KINGSTON JAMAICA: As the second favourite at 6-5, Baby Star displaying a natural likeness for the straight course and with timely guidance from Anthony Thomas won the second contest in the Caymanas Saturday second which was just run.

Baby Star drawn on the outside was with the early leaders but it was the odds on 3-5 favourite Custer (Tevin Foster) who held the lead when they hit the racetrack proper.

Thomas now is sync with Baby Star threw down their challenge with 1 ½ furlongs to go - sweeping by Custer to win by two lengths.

Special Counsel (Chris Mamdeen) was third.

The two co-champion jockeys Dane Nelson and Thomas have won the first two races thus far on the programme.
