KINGSTON, Jamaica – Apprentice Oshane Nugent continued his recent good form when he closed a double on the day in the Caymanas Sunday nightcap atop the Anthony Nunes trained Magical Mood.
This after being crowded while navigating the first turn and going four wide at the top of the homestretch.
In a fierce battle to end the weekend of racing, Magical Mood found Katalina (Javaniel Patterson) in a no-nonsense mood.
It was touch and go but Nugent summoned all his skills to earn the win by a neck.
Katalina was second and Heavenly Glitter (Robert Halledeen third.
