KINGSTON, Jamaica – Making full use of the coveted outside draw in this straight contest, Born Diplomat under vigorous urgings from Chris Mamdeen ran out an easy winner of the Caymanas Sunday fourth.
Trained by Lawrence Freemantle who saddled a triple last week Sunday, Born Diplomat was always with the leaders but he pushed away while hugging the outside rails, a furlong and a half out to win by three lengths.
Second was Sniper Man (Oshane Nugent) with Commissioner (Robert Halledeen) third.
