KINGSTON, Jamaica – Pushed to be with the leaders from the time the gates opened, Top Shelf, ridden by Omar Walker and trained by Ryan Darby, was able to maintain a strong gallop throughout to win the first of 10 on the Caymanas Saturday (Feb 3) card.

In the stretch drive, Top Shelf was overtaken by Bimini with a challenger emerging on the inside rails in the form of Miss In Kiss while Wilson was on the outside ready to pounce.

In an all out drive, Top Self held firm to beat Wilson by a neck with Hover Craft running on filling the third slot.

This was Top Shelf’s fifth career victory from 37 starts.
