KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trainer Wayne DaCosta after winning the seventh with Casual Affair, the eighth with Three Times Lucky capped a natural hat-trick of winners when his speedy filly England’s Rose won the nightcap on the Caymanas Saturday programme.
Ridden by Anthony Thomas, in a Restricted Overnight Allowance call, England’s Rose well known for her torrid speed shot out of the one draw as if possessed and the writing was immediately on the wall for the eighth other runners.
Eroy (Omar Walker) tried his best and was gaining in the final half-a-furlong but it was a case of much too little much too late. Third went to Rohan Kabir.
After setting splits of 22.2 x 45.3, England’s Rose was clocked in a final time of 59.2.
England’s Rose provided Thomas with his second winner on the day.
