3-YEAR-OLDS: WIDE OPEN FILLIES ONLY MAIDEN CONTEST ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2022

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The fourth race on Monday, October 17, 2022, is a three-year-old maiden contest for fillies only going five furlongs straight.

THE QUICK GALLOPER’S assessment is published below.

1 – RISKY BID is a bay filly (January 19) by Blue Pepsi Lodge out of Zensational. Showed up on last when finishing third 27 days ago behind Freedom Street and Tapit Good. With normal improvement, Risky Bid can lay claims to victory in this one.

2 – BESTDAUGHTERINLAW is a bay filly (April 17) by Buzz Nightmare out of Our Miss Ruth. Well-backed on debut but disappointed. Bestdaughterinlaw has been making some progress at morning exercise; can be given another chance.

3 – DANCING WITH A CAT is a bay filly (April 23) by Emperor Hall out of Dancing Wizard. Needs more time.

4 – NOA LI is a bay filly (April 10) by Forest Danger out of Celine. Finished some nine lengths behind She’s My Friend (6 ½ furlongs) on October 9. In that event, Noa Li was shortening in the last furlong making five furlongs more to her liking.

5 – NIKITA B is a bay filly (March 19) by Deputy Glitters out of Osada. Cannot be given a favourable chance of winning this one.

6 – ANOTHER WAVE is a bay filly (February 27) by Savoy Stomp out of High Cube. Raced prominently on September 17, when finishing fourth going six furlongs. Has a good chance of winning as any other of the participants.

7 – FOUR FIVER is a bay filly (February 12) by Nasheet out of Missy Moss. Not ready yet.

8 – OOH SO LONG is a bay filly (May 27) by Force De Jour out of Oolong. Has been coming along in her recent engagements. The straight will suit that experienced campaigner.

9 – SALUD is a bay filly (April 11) by Bridled Quest out of Lunar Explosion. Coming along, with a place on the board her best option.
