KINGSTON, Jamaica – The third race on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Caymanas Park is for three-year-old maidens going 6 ½ furlongs.
THE QUICK GALLOPER’S assessment is given below.
1 – AMAD ALI is a chestnut colt (May 7) by Traditional out of Adina. Note, Amad Ali races with the visor off, and the tongue tie on. Getting closer and closer to passing the winning in front, with this race providing the perfect opportunity for Amad Ali. Plus, Amad Ali beat Storm A Come last time out (14 days), and Storm A Come has since gone on to victory.
2 – REAL BIGMAN is a grey colt (January 9) by Berlino Di Tiger out of My Morning Prayer. Real Bigman was game in defeat seven days ago, when beaten a length by Anchorman. That second place effort by Real Bigman was achieved after only two previous starts. With a furlong and a half less to travel, Real Bigman is well poised to get off the mark.
3 – SALUD is a bay filly (April 11) by Bridled Quest out of Lunar Explosion. Note, Salud races with first time Lasix. Not ready to deal with these.
4 – GIVEMETHELIGHT is a grey colt (March 9) by Nasheet out of Skipping Sue. Givemethelight is slowly earning his mettle and has a good chance as any.
5 – SIR RAGBAR BAPI is a bay gelding (March 30) by Storm Craft out of Lady Najariya. Note, Sir Ragbar Bapi races with the blinkers on and first time Lasix. No chance of winning.
6 – KING AIR is a chestnut colt (March 14) by Midnight Hawk out of Mameta. Note, King Air races with both the visor and tongue tie on. Needs more time.
7 – CALL THE EMPEROR is a bay gelding (April 1) by Emperor Hall out of Call For A Cat. Put in a pleasing shift (20 days), when finishing second behind Whisky. The trip is perfect for Call The Emperor, who now has no excuse for not being part of the deciding party.
