As the 2026 three-year-old season continues apace, Another Wow and Bigger Boss made visible progress with victories at different levels on Saturday, February 28.

Another Wow, a full sister to Wow Wow (Casual Trick out of Sarah Barracuda), a former standout performer at the two- and three-year-old levels, was facing the starter for the fourth occasion after three second-place finishes.

Trained by Anthony Nunes and guided by Tajay Suckoo, Another Wow competed over six and a half furlongs. After a slow start, she quickly recovered to take over the lead when two furlongs were completed, and from that moment went further and further away to score by 10 ½ lengths. The final time was 1:22.1, following splits of 24.3, 48.2, and 1:14.4. Finishing second was Another Wow’s stablemate, Passion And Beyond (Raddesh Roman), with Red Thirtytwo (Dane Dawkins) taking third.

“Another Wow continues to progress in a timely manner. I am very pleased with her performance on Saturday (February 28),” Nunes shared in a post-race interview.

Two races after Another Wow put aside the tag of maiden, it was the turn of the Jason DaCosta-trained Bigger Boss, ridden by Tevin Foster, to show his capabilities in a three-year-old non-winners of two call, going six and a half furlongs. Racing for the fourth time, Bigger Boss, a bay colt by Bern Identity out of Woman Is Boss, was ushered in during the early part of the race to vie for the advantage with Uncle Nally (Demar Williams) as the main challenger.

However, after a slow beginning, Victorious Links (Shane Richardson) surged along the inside rails to take over on the front end. Victorious Links continued to set the pace, entering the straight for the final push of two furlongs.

Foster waited on Bigger Boss, backing off the leaders and racing in fourth place for most of the race until turning for home. Gaining a route on the inside, Bigger Boss gathered momentum to sweep by Victorious Links, scoring at the finish by 3 ½ lengths. Victorious Links held second, with Stardom (Dane Dawkins), finishing well, taking third.

The splits were 24.1, 48.2, and 1:15.2 for a final clocking of 1:22.2, a fifth of a second slower than Another Wow two races previously.
