KINGSTON, Jamaica – The two-year-old season continues to unfold with another maiden event on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Caymanas.
Nine ‘babies’ will enter the starting barriers to race over 4 ½ furlongs.
The assessment of the youngsters is provided below.
1 – SMOOTH NAVIGATOR is a bay colt (March 3) by Casual Trick out of Classy Aviator trained by Jason DaCosta with Robert Halledeen in the saddle. Note, Classy Aviator has already produced Great Wayne. Coming along at exercise and is expected to be a part of the eventual outcome.
2 - ALL FOR LOVE is a bay colt (February 1) by Nuclear Wayne out of Princess Sallema trained by Gary Subratie with Dane Dawkins in the irons. Note, Princess Sallema has already produced Desha and Queen T. Not ready.
3 – ACKNOWLEDGEME is a bay filly (March 26) by Key To Power out of Gentle Officer trained by Michael Thomas with Shane Ellis aboard. Coming along as evidenced by her fourth-place finish 14 days ago. A place on the board is in the offing.
4 – THE LOVE OF GOD is a chestnut filly (February 22) by Lion Tamer out of The Principal trained by Lawrence Freemantle with Odeen Edwards holding the reins. Raced prominently on October 1, when finishing third, beaten by Sistren Treasure and Roulette Boss. That effort was over 5 ½ furlongs, the reduction in the trip on Saturday can be the springboard for an improved run.
5 – LAMBO GIRL is a chestnut filly (April 12) by Admiral Alex out of Absolute Justice trained by Wilfred Chin with Raddesh Roman aboard. Still on a learning curve.
6 – CRUCIAL ALEXXYA is a grey filly (March 8) by Admiral Alex out of Crucial Cat trained by Carl Anderson with Omar Walker in the saddle. This filly returns to a distance she can handle at this time; gets a chance to be on the board.
7 - REJECTED RAJA is a chestnut colt (February 2) by Soul Warrior out of Palace Gold trained by Robert Pearson with Shavon Townsend aboard. Note, Palace Gold has already produced Will The Conquerer. Has caught the eye at exercise during his steady preparation for his debut run. Rejected Raja is advanced enough to be a winner the first time out.
8 - VELIKI VICKI is a roan filly (February 19) by Bold Conquest out of Sweetyourock trained by Jason DaCosta with Abigail Able in the saddle. Note, Sweetyourock has already produced Dontae, Necromancer, Don Almighty, and Task Force. Getting on at exercise but a winning run is not to be expected.
9 - PIGGLIE WIGGLIE is a bay filly (April 2) by Conquest Cherimash out of Save More trained by Patrick Fong with Dick Cardenas aboard. The clockers are indicating that Pigglie Wigglie is a speedy one in the making, and has to be caught with the outside draw.
