KINGSTON, Jamaica – The historic 100th running of the Jamaica Derby is scheduled for Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Caymanas Park.

The Racing Office of the promoting company today (Fri, October 2) issued the first list of provisional starters for the blue riband event.

The 16 include the recent winner of the St Leger – Nipster; 2000 Guineas winner – Wow Wow and the usual band of horses who have raced in the four Classic events already contested this year.

There are four newcomers, who if they start, will be running in a Classic for the first time. These include Fearless Champion, Money Monster, Royal Approach and High Diplomacy.

Only four fillies are provisionally entered for the Derby – Another Affair, SenCity, Shepanza, and Attorney General.
