KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was expected but when he stepped from the gates and took over the lead going by Cash Is King, Wow Wow the undisputed leader of the juveniles gave another performance of utter class when he crumpled rivals in the 6 ½ furlongs Two-Year-Old Juvenile Sprint moments ago at Caymanas Park.
Seven horses faced the starter and Cash Is King (Linton Steadman 4-1) shot to the front closely followed by Wow Wow (Ameth Robles 1-9) with Tomohawk (Phillip Parchment 3-1) in the third slot.
Then Wow Wow took over leaving the half-mile post and from then it was a procession which culminated in a 12 ¾ length victory for the Gary Subratie trainee.
Tomohawk outdid Cash is King for second by a short-head.
This was the fourth consecutive win for the bay colt by Casual Trick – Sarah Barracuda.
Owned by Michros and bred by Michael Bernard, Wow Wow was clocked at a very fast 1:19.0 for the distance.
