KINGSTON, Jamaica – Racing with the visor off and starting as the 3-5 favourite, Nala’s Bushman was an easy winner of the Caymanas Saturday eighth, which was a 3-year-old and upwards optional claimer (250,000 - $200,000) and a six-year-old and upwards non-winners of four.

Running over nine furlongs and 25 yards, Shane Ellis aboard Nala’s Bushman, raced at the back of the field as first Trickster (Chalrick Budhai) did the work on the front end, but that did not last for long as Estalita (Dick Cardenas) took over. Estalita was then passed by Ridewiththemob (Romario Spencer).

Ellis smoothly guided Nala’s Bushman around horses to enter the final two furlongs on the outside and full of running.

Nala’s Bushman went by the leader without any fuss, taking this event by three lengths.

Second was Ridewiththemob with Isotope third.

Nala’s Bushman was the second winner on the day for trainer Michael Marlowe.
