KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trainer Welsh Soutar achieved a double just moments ago when his charge Jason’s Gold won the third race of 12 at Caymanas Park. Soutar had earlier scored in the second with Papa Albert.
The win at odds of 7-2 by Jason’s Gold gave jockey Andre Martin his first winner in many, many moons.
Second went to early leader Big Paul at odds of 6-1 with Milagro filling the third slot.
