KINGSTON, Jamaica – The seventh race on Saturday, April 29, 2023, is a three-year-old maiden call in which eleven horses are entered going the two turns of nine furlongs and 25 yards.

The analysis is provided below by the Quick Galloper.

– KEM is a chestnut colt (June 29) by Here Comes Ben out of Lost Springs trained by Gary Crawford with Calvin Bailey aboard. Enters the fray for the second occasion after placing sixth on debut. Will continue to learn.

– JOBLANE is a bay colt (May 18) by Savoy Stomp out of Patchwork trained by Richard Azan with Anthony Thomas aboard. Not ready for this battle as yet.

– LIFE IS LIFE is a bay colt (February 18) by Natural Selection out of Little Wasp trained by Jason DaCosta with Oshane Nugent aboard. Note, Life Is Life races with the blinkers on. Has raced eight times with consistent runs being the order of the day. Life Is Life is slowly finding himself and with the blinkers on should get closer, but nine furlongs and 25 yards will be a taxing.

– BROWN SKIN GIRL is a chestnut filly (April 22) by Bold Conquest out of Girl Talk trained by Jason DaCosta with Reyan Lewis aboard. Note, Brown Skin Girl races with first-time Lasix. This filly has been running on in her three races to date. The extension of the trip puts Brown Skin Girl into the reckoning.

– MPRS LINKS is a bay filly (March 29) by Admiral Alex out of Brewedtoperfection trained by Jason DaCosta with Phillip Parchment aboard. Has raced over this trip before finishing in the ruck. Has no realistic chance of being successful.

– SWEET VICTORY is a grey filly (February 18) by Spieth out of Bitter End trained by Howard Jaghai with Jerome Innis aboard. Note, Sweet Victory races with the blinkers on. Not capable of winning against these.

– LAMBO GIRL is a chestnut filly (April 12) by Admiral Alex out of Absolute Justice trained by Wilfred Chin with Ramon Nepare aboard. Note, Lambo Girl races with the visor on, and the tongue tie off. Has faced the starter 11 times without anything of substance to report.

– HOME ALONE is a bay colt (May 27) by Soul Warrior out of Nuclear Princess trained by Colin Ferguson with Bebeto Harvey aboard. Improved significantly going a mile, with more expected for a place on the board.

- TOKILLAMOCKINGBIRD is a bay colt (March 6) by Lion Tamer out of Newton’s First Law trained by Marlon Anderson with Abigail Able aboard. Although well-experienced can safely be ruled out.

– HOT STEPPER is a chestnut filly (March 13 ) by Hedge Fund out of Crème De La trained by Anthony Nunes with Linton Steadman aboard. Hot Stepper has been getting better and better with each of her five starts to date. She gives the impression that going longer will be to her liking, making the distance of Saturday call an enticing one.

– BAD INVESTMENT is a bay colt (January 30) by Casual Trick out of My Angel Briannah trained by Dennis Pryce with Tevin Foster. Note, Bad Investment races with the blinkers off, and the figure 8 on. Needs more time.
