KINGSTON, Jamaica - After securing her first success in the sixth race at the Century Mile race track in Canada, jockey Samantha Fletcher went one better when she completed a double.
In another hard-fought race, Fletcher prevailed on the Cheryl Humbke-conditioned Classy Rose. Fletcher’s first winner, Behind The Curtain, is also trained by Humbke.
Classy Rose won a six-furlong call on the dirt.
The post-race report reads as follows: “CLASSY ROSE prompted the pace from the three path, gained the lead at the three sixteenth pole, turned back a challenge from Sizzlin Rose”.
