KINGSTON, Jamaica - Finance Minister, Dr Nigel Clarke has announced that the recent abandonment of races, which took place last week Saturday (April 27) at Caymanas Park has been suspended and that the regulators of horse racing, the Jamaica Racing Commission will work on a system of fines to be implemented when races are not started on time.
Dr Clarke was speaking after a meeting with multiple stakeholders in the horse racing industry held at his ministry on Thursday, May 2, 2024.
