KINGSTON, Jamaica - Jockey Anthony Thomas added another winner to his collection today (March 27) when he piloted Amy The Butcher, trained by Herbert Miller to victory in the fourth event at Gulfstream Park in Florida.
The win by Thomas on Amy The Butcher was achieved in a US$12,500 claiming event on the dirt going six furlongs.
The race summary is as follows: AMY THE BUTCHER bumped with an outer foe at the start, was prompted along while in range along the inside, tipped out to the three path early around the turn, bid while floating out to the six path at the top of the lane, took the lead before the eighth pole, and drew clear.
