KINGSTON, Jamaica - Former local champion jockey Anthony Thomas earned another win today (April 6) at Gulfstream Park in Florida.

Thomas won aboard the Leon Minott trained Slender Slipper in the first race - a US$35,000 Maiden Claiming call at six furlongs on the dirt.

The post-race summary is as follows: “SLENDER SLIPPER chased in the two path, was driven around the turn, stayed on under right handed encouragement along the inside down the lane, and got up in the final strides”.
