It was an all Jamaican affair in the first race on the Sunday (Jan 21, 2024) race day at Gulfstream Park in Florida.
Amy The Butcher owned by Oliver Gray, the man responsible for all the butcher named horses in Jamaica, trained by Jamaican born Herbie Miller with Anthony ‘St Mary’ in the saddle, gained success in a 5 ½ furlong US$12,500 maiden claiming call on the dirt track.
Amy The Butcher tracked from out in the centre in the seven path, was cued to bid in the four path midway around the turn, floated out to the six path in upper stretch, kept on her left lead, and was up in the final sixteenth.
Watch below the winning run of Amy The Butcher.

Great ride AT...I thought you were making a mistake staying at Gulfstream for the championship meet but you're holding your own against so many hall of fame riders.. hopefully you will start getting better rides soon
