WALK DOWN FREEDOM STREET – WATCH OUT FOR BABYLIKE

Freedom Street
Freedom Street
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The ninth race on Saturday, October 29, 2022, is Division One of a three-year-old (non-winners of two) for locally bred, and also for imported three-year-old maidens coming down the five-straight course.
Eleven will face the starter, with the assessment of all the runners provided below in order of the draw.
1 – PHOENIX RISEN is a chestnut colt (February 16) by Traditional out of Impetus. Known to like the straight but coming from the one draw will be difficult. Phoenix Risen can, however, hit the board.
2 – HA GOW SIU MEI is a bay colt (February 23) by Sensational Slam out of Gaming Traction. Has garnered experience at this level and is a lover of the straight. Ha Gow Siu Mei gets another chance and should be given a wholesome chance of winning. Note, Ha Gow Sui Mei races with the figure eight on, and the cheekpieces off.
3 – BABYLIKE is a dark bay filly (May 1) by Savoy Stomp out of Ladylike. Just missed out on last (October 15) when finishing second by a head. Babylike has earned her spurs at non-two and is primed to go one better.
4 – SLAM is a bay gelding (March 4) by Sensational Slam out of Bedroom Chatter. Slam has not lived up to expectations, and no change is expected.
5 – BER LINO’S CHOICE is a chestnut filly (February 22) by Berlino Di Tiger out of Mete-Orite. Went into claiming company and now returns at a distance she is comfortable with and can hit the board.
6 – SCOOBY is a bay colt by (March 14) Casual Trick out of Royal Dutch. Returns from a long break having last raced on February 26, 2022. Gradually finding himself, needs time.
7 – FUNOMETER is a dark bay colt (April 12) by Traditional out Opulent. It is a case of getting to know the class for Funometer.
8 – TAPIT GOOD is an imported in-utero chestnut colt (April 14) by Tapiture out of Forty Fifteen. Finding his way in the grade.
9 – AWESOME PRINCE is a bay colt (May 8) by Vancouver out of Awesome Lucy. Put in a good shift on last (October 17), and with the opposition not as taxing, has an outright opportunity of registering his second victory.
10 – FREEDOM STREET is an imported in-utero bay gelding (April 17) by Uncaptured out of Nofashionsense. Freedom Street has hit the board both times he has competed in non-two. His winning stock increases being drawn on the outside.
11 – LORD BURKINGTON is a chestnut colt (April 10) by Berlino Di Tiger out of Soca Dancer. Can be taken out of any consideration.
