KINGSTON, Jamaica – Shooting to the front after two furlongs were completed in a Maiden Condition contest for four-year-old and upwards colts and geldings over 5 ½ furlongs, Vampire Rejection was not for the catching.

Ridden by apprentice Romario Spencer, Vampire Rejection a four-year-old dark bay colt by Soul Warrior – Rum Ridge who is trained by Donovan Plummer won by a widening 5 ½ lengths.

Vampire Rejection won at odds of 7-5 with second going to the 9-2 chance Cruizinn Jed at 9-2 with third place occupied by Riddim Up (Anthony Thomas – 7-2).
