KINGSTON, Jamaica – Caymanas Park experienced a thrilling upset on Saturday, October 26, 2024, as the 46-1 longshot Exotic Light defied the odds to claim victory in the three-year-old and upward Claiming ($750,000-$600,000) race.
Owned and trained by Edward Stanberry, with Roger Hewitt in the saddle, Exotic Light dominated the 5 ½ furlong event. The bay filly crossed the finish line a comfortable 2 ¾ lengths ahead of her more fancied rivals, clocking a time of 1:10.0.
