KINGSTON, Jamaica - Following the Jamaica Day race card on Saturday, November 11, 2023, with its three major races, the St Elizabeth Distaff, the Port Royal Sprint, and the Jamaica Cup, there have been changes to the provisional list of starters in the lucrative Mouttet Mile scheduled to be contested on, Saturday, December 2.
Please remember the rules attached to the Mouttet Mile clearly state that of the 16 available places, four are allotted to visiting runners, with the other 12 places decided on earnings from Overnight Allowance to Grade One races.

Where is Desert of Malibu???...not enough earnings...there should be at least 2 special invitations by the promotional company
the great mouttet mile 30 provisional starters for now and only 16 will start ..personal opinion it will be a anti climax it will be a two horse race so to speak..no further opinions your honor
Surely Desert of Malibu has earned more than $81,450 so why is she not listed among the top 30 documented above? She recently won an Overnight race namely the St. Elizabeth Distaff .
Her first 3 wins doesn't count as they were in restricted races meaning non winners of 4 which is lower than overnight allowance..her earnings from her last win was $819,000 which would make her #28 on the list.
