Trainer Aidan O’Brien provided an update on his Breeders’ Cup hopefuls in an interview with U.K. TV channel At the Races that was posted on X on Thursday.

The contingent is led by Auguste Rodin, the 3-year-old winner of the Group 1 Irish Champion Stakes last out Sept. 9.

O’Brien said he’s “very happy with him since he’s had a nice break. Physically, he’s done very well. … He’s ready to go again.”

Auguste Rodin, winner of three Group 1 races this year, is pointed to the Breeders’ Cup Turf. O’Brien said Bolshoi Ballet, the 5-year-old whose only win in 5 starts this year came in the Sword Dancer (G1) last out at Saratoga, also could be entered in the Turf.

Unquestionable, a maiden winner who was second last out in the Prix Jean Luc Lagardere Grand Criterium (G1) in Paris, could start in the Juvenile Turf along with River Tiber, winner of his first two starts but third in two Group 1 races since.

Warm Heart, a 3-year-old filly with Group 1 wins in her last two starts, would go for the Filly & Mare Turf, O’Brien said.

O'Brien, winner of three Breeders' Cup races last year at Keeneland, said it would be a few days before final decisions are made.
