KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Trevor ‘Slicer’ Simpson continued to show why he is so highly regarded by many as he continued his purple patch in the saddle after returning to the local track at the start of this year, taking time off from riding in the United States.
Simpson wrapped up two of the last three races at Caymanas Park earlier today (Jan 26) after winning on board Golden Eye for trainer Paul Hylton and in the night cap, Simpson was at his best on Nuclear Commander for trainer Fernando Geddes.
Simpson has now ridden eight winners in 2019 to lead in the championship.
