KINGSTON, Jamaica - After waiting a long while to win her first race on local soil just seven days ago, No Work Permit return for the first time at the non-winners of two level and gave a determined performance to win the Caymanas Saturday eighth.
With the in-form Javaniel Patterson in the saddle, No Work Permit and Primal Fear (Dick Cardenas) went to the front with the lead changing hands several times down the backstretch. The headlines were followed by Green Gold Rush (Anthony Thomas) and Versatile Vision (Paul Francis).
No Work Permit and Primal Fear took the pack into the straight with the latter quickly backing out. Versatile Vision was the first to challenge but No Work Permit dealt with that situation before having to find extra to hold back a rejuvenated Green Gold Rush who came with a rush in the final yardage and just failed in his attempt. Versatile Vision was third.
