Twilight Eruption wins the second event on Saturday card for apprentice Roger Hewitt, trainer Byron Davis

KINGSTON, Jamaica – After sitting behind front runners Rundazzle (Trevor Simpson -5-2) and Rohan’s Cattleya (Anthony Thomas – 7-2), Twilight Eruption with apprentice Roger Hewitt in the saddle wore down Rundazzle to win the second of nine races on the final race day of 2019.

Trained by Byron Davis, Twilight Eruption won a Restricted Allowance offering for five-year-olds and upwards – non-winners of five run over 5 ½ furlongs.

Twilight Eruption started as the 7-5 favourite in the event with Miss Judy (Jerome Innis – 5-1) finishing third.

Horse number one, Boss Izzy was a late non-starter.
