KINGSTON, Jamaica – Power of Faith, the first offspring of stallion Key To Power to hit the track, made a successful start to his racing career with a win in Division 2 of the Starters’ Trophy.
The Starters’ Trophy is a two-year-old maiden contest run over four furlongs straight.
Drawn on the outside of rivals, Power of Faith, a chestnut colt (Power of Faith – Yield to Faith) with Reyan Lewis in the saddle for trainer Ian Parsard, took control from the beginning and in the end was 4 ¾ lengths ahead of the rest.
Slam (Ian Spence) ran on to get second with Rubyistheone (Linton Steadman) third.
