KINGSTON, Jamaica – The eighth race on Saturday, November 18, 2023, features a three-year-old maiden call with nine nominated horses set to run.

The distance is seven and a half furlongs.

Find the Quick Galloper's analysis of each horse in the draw order below:

1 – GAME TO FAME, a bay gelding by Resurgence out of No Pain No Gain, is trained by Al Brown and ridden by Youville Pinnock. After a quiet debut on October 28, he will continue to learn.

2 – BAD INVESTMENT, a bay colt by Casual Trick out of Lady Briannah, is trained by Oral Hayden and partnered with Bebeto Harvey. Having disappointed on October 28 when finishing sixth, the extra half furlong on Saturday presents an even greater challenge.

3 – CAPTAIN PHILIP, a chestnut colt by Hedge Fund out of Kandi With A K, is trained by Gary Griffiths and ridden by Oshane Nugent. Despite coming from the successful Griffiths stable, he has underperformed in his 15 starts so far, making him an outsider. Note that Captain Philip will race without blinkers and tongue tie.

4 – PRINCESS TALISE, a bay filly by Savoy Stomp out of Dancing Queen, is trained by Lawrence Freemantle and ridden by Tevin Foster. With 15 starts under her belt, she finished fourth behind Here Comes Doc on October 28 and now has another chance at success.

5 – HOME ALONE, a bay colt by Soul Warrior out of Nuclear Princess, is trained by Michael Cain Jr and ridden by Omar Walker. Despite previous disappointments in his 10 starts, Saturday offers him a clear opportunity to make his mark. Note that Home Alone will race with cheekpieces.

6 – UNCLE SYL, a bay colt by Resurgence out of Mama C, is trained by Carlton Cunningham and partnered with Phillip Parchment. After finishing 15th behind Miss Lynton just a week ago, he isn't a likely winner. Note that Uncle Syl will race without a visor and tongue tie.

7 – ALWAYS WRIGHT, a bay filly by Northern Giant out of Kitty Hawk, is trained by Michael Marlowe and ridden by Jerome Innis. She struggles with longer distances and may need to wait for shorter races.

8 – OH MY, a bay filly by Bold Conquest out of Nina Primera, is trained by Ryan Darby and partnered with Shamaree Muir. Finishing third behind Miss Lynton only seven days ago, she has a solid chance at winning Saturday's race, especially given her preference for longer distances.

9 – STORM BOY, a dark bay colt by Storm Craft out of Empire Strikes Back, is trained by Courtney Williams and ridden by Roger Hewitt. He remains an inexperienced contender who is still finding his footing in the racing world.
