KINGSTON, Jamaica – 2019 Triple Crown winner Supreme Soul by Soul Warrior out of Beware Baby, has been officially retired by his connections.
Confirmation came from trainer Anthony Nunes, who was responsible for conditioning Supreme Soul during his more productive efforts on the race track.
“Supreme Soul is special, as to win a Triple Crown (Guineas, Derby, St Leger) is not an easy endeavour, and he was able to achieve that memorable feat.
“But after his foray (Florida) in the Caribbean Classic late in his three-year-old campaign he was never the same. The long period of wait that Supreme Soul had to undergo while in quarantine after the Classic was run, and general indifference, stymied the rest of his career.
“The decision was therefore taken to retire him, as he has given us a lot of success and joy,” Nunes told Quickgallop.com.
Nunes said that Supreme Soul is currently is presently the pony at the stables.
“Supreme Soul is now the resident pony at my stables, and I can tell you that he is really enjoying his new job,” Nunes ended.
