KINGSTON, Jamaica – The first race at Caymanas Park today (Monday, November 15, 2021) was one of the oddest staged in a long while. The event was for $250,000 - $200,000 claimers (six furlongs), who have not won a race since December of last year, and for jockeys who have not won a race since the start of this year.

Well, given those qualifications, victory went to 7-1 chance Treasure Train ridden by Delroy Beharie for trainer Stedman Curtis, who was winning his first race for this season.

After staying behind the leaders until close to taking the bend for home, Beharie pushed Treasure Train to the lead.

In the stretch drive, while hugging the rails, Treasure Train was challenged by Stan Roy (Garfield Gordon). Stan Roy got the nose in front by Treasure Train rallied in a strong fightback to earn the win by three parts of a length.

Second was Stan Roy with Reasons (Shaquil McIntosh) third.
