KINGSTON, Jamaica - When Traveller’s Lodge steamed rolled the opposition down the five straight course in the sixth event on Saturday, May 11, 2024, it marked the first win this season for trainer Christopher Pearson from three starts.

Traveller’s Lodge was a 3 ½ length winner, finishing the course in a time of 1:02.0. Traveller’s Lodge was guided to victory by Raddesh Roman.

In his post-race interview with Quickgallopja.com, Pearson said the victory by his charge was a timely one.

“Yes, Traveller’s Lodge delivered for us., and it could not have come at a better time for us, the connections,” the trainer said.

He then added: “Traveller’s Lodge will get a little rest, and will probably race again in June, if all is well.”

As to what he has on the cards for the future.

“Well, at present, I have a small string of horses in training, including some two-year-olds. Just hoping they will develop, and provide more wins for the stables,” Pearson said.
