KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trainer, owner and breeder Percival Tomilinson passed away recently after a long association with the sport of horse racing.
‘Bert’ as he was known inside and outside of horse racing, dedicated himself to his family, his business and horse racing.
One of his best moments came in 1984 when he won the 2000 Guineas with Trance ridden by Donovan ‘Bug’ Lindo.

A great man has passed! I have so many fond childhood memories of you in Bushy Park St. Catherine. You and my dad, Alimon Abdul were the first to put on the back of a horse at the tiny age of 3. That memory is still very much apart of me. You were a kind but no nonsense person. My condolences to your son, daughter-in-law and your beautiful grandchildren. May your soul rest in peace. Walk good Bert.
Thanks for your comments.
