KINGSTON, Jamaica – It has so far been a day to remember for trainer Lawrence “Cummy” Freemantle and apprentice Oshane Nugent as they both crowned a triple on the day when Dee Danger was able to hold on by a head to win the Caymanas Sunday eighth.

Nugent was in a hurry to get Dee Danger from the number two starting gate over to the inside rails and that he did with the minimum of fuss.

Always in the lead, Dee Danger had to fight off late challengers Mother Nature (Dane Dawkins) and Mamacita (Dick Cardenas).

Riding as hard as he could Nugent kept on pushing and held on with Dee Danger for his triple.

Mother Nature was second and Mamacita third.
