KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trainer Keisha Lawrence celebrated her second winner of the year with Connor a short while ago in the second of 11 races on the mid-week card at Caymanas Park.
Connor finished second behind Lazza with Natalie Berger in the saddle but after a steward’s inquiry it was deemed that Lazza interfered with Captain Granville and was removed from first and eventually placed fifth.
Connor ridden by Phillip Parchment won a $180,000 - $150,000 claiming event over three furlongs.
The winning time was 39.0 seconds.
