KINGSTON, Jamaica - Over the years, trainer Howard Jaghai experienced numerous highs and lows, but he finally has something to celebrate after reaching his 100th career win.

Jaghai's milestone occurred on Saturday, August 26, 2023, when his four-year-old bay filly Premier Identity triumphed in the $730,000 Maiden Condition Race for native-bred four-year-olds and upwards over 5 furlongs (1,000m) straight.

Tevin Foster rode Premier Identity to victory by 5 ¾ lengths ahead of Neo Star (Ricardo Duhaney) and Balde (Phillip Parchment), with a time of 1:03.1.

"I'm thrilled to have reached this significant milestone," Jaghai said. "I've experienced much blood, sweat, and tears along the way."

Jaghai mentioned that this achievement is an important milestone in any sportsman's career.

"I'm happy to be here, but I still have many dreams and aspirations to fulfill. My barn is currently undergoing a rebuilding process. I have eight horses now and plan to acquire more in the upcoming month. My focus remains on keeping my horses sound and fit, selecting the right races for them, and winning more races."

Discussing Premier Identity's performance, Jaghai expressed complete confidence in his filly's chances.

"She has raced against tougher competition in the past and placed second six times. Although we knew she wasn't a five-straight horse going into this race, she proved her worth by outperforming the field."
