KINGSTON, Jamaica – The newly minted combination of trainer Wayne DaCosta and apprentice Raddesh Roman continued their winning run as they combined to land the fourth race on the Saturday card with odds on 3-5 favourite Madam Secretary.
In an Optional Claiming event ($650,000 - $600,000) over seven furlongs, Madam Secretary disputed the lead with Eye Candy (Chris Mamdeen 7-2) for half of the race before Madam Secretary pulled away to win going away by 5 ½ lengths. Eye Candy was second with Urban Principal (Daniel Satchell) third.
