Three newcomers face the starters
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Eight three-year-olds are scheduled to face each other in a maiden contest over five furlongs straight.
PEAKY BLINDERS: (3 ch c by Distorted Humor – Visionary Wonder) - This first-timer has caught the eye at exercise and has been patiently prepared for his debut outing. The talk around is that Peaky Blinkers is advanced enough to have a say in the final placings.
POTENTIAL: (3 b c by Traditional – Breath of Live) – Has raced three times with nothing to show for his efforts. Races with first-time Lasix.
BUGATTI: (3 b c by Casual Trick – Charmin Diaz) – Finally hit the board on his third try. Bugatti has faced Prince Sanjay before and was about three lengths behind. He faces Prince Sanjay once more but Bugatti should be fitter and be in a better position of earning his first win.
ANOTHER WAVE: (3 b g by Savoy Stomp – Absolute Justice) – The trainer of Another Wave has made a change, taking off the figure 8 and putting on the tongue tie. Another Wave is the most experienced of this lot but his past efforts will not make a difference. Another Wave is not expected to do better than before.
PRINCE SANJAY: (3 ch c by Emperor Hall – Dalla Fifty) – Outfitted himself well down the straight when finishing a close second behind Brompton Alex on February 6. Prince Sanjay has kept up his work at exercise and will be fighting out this one, especially given the distance.
MELMICH: (3 ch f by Sparrowhawk – Miss Polly) – This filly has not done much at exercise.
MORIMOTO: (3 b c by Casual Trick – Luckybegood) – Comes into his first race well prepared with some noticeable spins at exercise. Morimoto is coming to win first time out.
BABYLON WILL FALL: (3 ch f by Sensational Slam – Karlie) – The only thing that can be said about Babylon Will Fall is that he races with first-time Lasix.
