KINGSTON, Jamaica - One of the top riders at Gulfstream Park in South Florida, USA, Edgard Zayas will be travelling to Jamaica to ride Captain Sparrow in the Jamaica Derby.
The 12-furlong Jamaica Derby is set to be contested on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Caymanas Park.
According the US website Equibase, Zayas has a career record of 2,355 wins from 13,280 rides with lifetime earnings of just over US72,000,000.
His statistics also based on Equibase for 2024, is 139 wins from $699 rides.
