KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Robert ‘Hardball’ Halledeen enriched his current purple patch in the saddle when he closed a triple on the day on Will The Conquerer in the Caymanas Monday fifth. Halledeen was also on three winners yesterday (Sunday, December 26).
Trained by Robert Pearson, Will The Conquerer’s latest win was accomplished in three-year-old non-winners of two call going five furlongs straight.
It was one of Halledeen’s easier winners, as Will The Conquerer set off in front and was not for the catching on the day, although challenged by Baton Rouge in the final furlong.
Baton Rouge (Phillip Parchment) was second and Sweetyman (Oshane Nugent) third.
