KINGSTON, Jamaica – After exiting briskly from the starting gates jockey Javaniel Patterson immediately rushed Three Times Lucky to the front from where she was never caught despite being troubled throughout by Hilly’s Vision (Chris Mamdeen).
Three Times Lucky, a chestnut filly by Northern Giant – Granville Greta released her maiden certificate in the penultimate race of nine on the Caymanas Saturday card.
Three Times Lucky showed a lot of grit in the final furlong as Mamdeen and Hilly’s Vision were not giving up but she found extra to win by 1 ¼ lengths in a well rated ride by Patterson. Third was Whispering Magic (Oshane Nugent).
Three Times Lucky was the second winner on the day thus far for DaCosta.
The winning time was 1:27.4.
