KINGSTON, Jamaica - Rani Bangala, trained by Robert Pearson, achieved her third consecutive victory in a race for native-bred four-year-olds and up (non-winners of four) and imported four-year-olds and up (non-winners of three).

Covering 7 ½ furlongs, Rani Bangala was guided into third position down the backstretch by champion jockey Dane Dawkins as She's My Friend (Jerome Innis) took the lead ahead of Sonny T and Chippy (Tevin Foster).

Despite She's My Friend increasing the pace after passing the 5-furlong marker, Rani Bangala maintained her consistent gallop in third place. As they navigated the half-mile turn, Sonny T and Chippy, along with Rani Bangala, closed the gap on She's My Friend's lead, setting up a thrilling three-horse contest entering the home stretch.

Rani Bangala seized the opportunity and quickly sprinted away to claim victory by 3 ¼ lengths over Sonny T and Chippy with a finishing time of 1:33.3 (24.0 x 47.1 x 1:11.4).
