KINGSTON, Jamica – The following things to note on the race day of Saturday, February 24, 2024, is based on the Overnight programme, which is to change.

As the anticipation builds towards the race day on Saturday, February 24, 2024, the spotlight falls on the Overnight programme, subject to revisions.

Key highlights include the comeback of Rough Entry, the 2023 Mouttet Mile victor, who hasn't raced since his December 3 triumph.

The stage is set for a titanic showdown as the two-time Horse of the Year, Atomica, returns to the track for her first race since clinching the 2023 title, facing off against Rough Entry in a much-anticipated duel.

Gary Subratie, the leading trainer, has thrown his hat in the ring with four entries out of the 92 contenders for the day: Cookie Day N Night, The Good Witch, Atomica, and Big Big Daddy. Meanwhile, Anthony Nunes, a former champion who sits third in the 2024 standings, will compete with a strong quartet: Allegiance, King Pylie, Mr Senator, and Stein.

The race day will also feature the venerable eleven-year-old Party Princess, the most senior of the entrants, closely followed by a trio of ten-year-olds: Senor Kwanzi, Okahumpka, and Biblical Legend.

In the jockey's saddle, champion Reyan Lewis, despite a subdued season start, is slated to ride Comehometome, trained by Jason DaCosta, and Milos, under Gregg Fennell's direction.

The path to Classic glory for three-year-olds intensifies on this race day, with Run Julie Run, the runner-up in the Jamaica Two-Year-Old Stakes, making a comeback alongside the third-place finisher, Fastnfuriouslinks, both seeking to make their mark.
