Wayne DaCosta leads the way with 2,291 career victories
KINGSTON, Jamaica – On Saturday, March 26, 2022, champion trainer Anthony Nunes won the eighth race on the day with his charge Curlin’s Affair.
In doing so, Nunes reached the milestone of 1,200 winners in his career to remain in third place on the list of top 20 trainers based on the number of wins at Caymanas Park.
Topping the list is Wayne DaCosta with 2,291 wins, with Philip Feanny occupying the second slot with 2,068 wins. DaCosta and Feanny are the only two trainers to reach the mark of 2,000 and more winners.
Five trainers Allan Williams, Kenneth Mattis, Nunes, Feanny, DaCosta have saddled 1,000 and more winners.
