KINGSTON, Jamaica - Supreme Ventures Racing and Entertainment Limited (SVREL) will be hosting the third staging of the MBet Summit of Speed Race Day at Caymanas Park this weekend.
The MBet Summit of Speed is a carnival of sprint races with distances from four furlongs straight to six and a half furlongs.
"This event has become a mainstay on the Jamaica racing calendar and we are proud of the opportunities it affords to thoroughbreds who prefer sprint distances," Denzil Miller, Racing secretary said.
There will be six Trophy races over the two days, Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, December 11 there will be four trophy races - the War Zone Trophy (Restricted Stakes over 5 1/2 furlongs); the Miracle Cure Trophy (three-year-olds non-winners of two) 5 1/2 furlongs); the Sunnyside Trophy (two-year-old fillies) over 5 furlongs round); and the Master Blaster Trophy (Restricted Allowance four-year-old and upwards) over 5 furlongs straight).
The two Trophy races on Sunday, 12, 2021- The Ahwhofah (Overnight Allowance over 6 furlongs) and the Starters Trophy (two-year-old maidens) over 4 furlongs straight.
