KINGSTON, Jamaica – THE QUICK WHISPERER has nominated three horses for special attention on the nine-race card of Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Caymanas Park.
The three horses under THE QUICK WHISPERER’S microscope are BUCKALUCK, DR SAHIR ALEXANDER, and FAUKLAND.
BUCKALUCK, a nine-year-old dark bay mare by Storm Craft – Littlerichgirl, races in the third race, which is a three-year-old and upwards Optional Claiming ($400, 000 - $300,000) event going a distance of five furlongs round.
BUCKALUCK is a veteran of 85 starts, whose new trainer has decided to put on the tongue tie. BUCKALUCK comes off a long rest of 99 days having finished fourth on the same journey. This is a tough assignment for BUCKALUCK, but THE QUICK WHISPERER is playing a hunch and is backing the oldster for a wager in the Exacta and the Trifecta. It wouldn’t harm to buy a few place tickets as well.
DR SAHIR ALEXANDER is an eight-year-old dark bay horse by Coded Warning – Rock ‘N’ Roll, who does duties in the sixth event, which is a five-year-old maiden race going six furlongs. This race has eleven starters all of which have raced several times before and have never found the winners’ enclosure. Given this situation, any four hoofs can pass the winning post in front. DR SAHIR ALEXANDER is racing for the first time with Lasix and should be placed in the Trifecta and Superfecta wagers. If bettors are adventurous try DR SAHIR ALEXANDER in the exacta.
FAUKLAND is a four-year-old bay gelding by Fury Kapcori – Always In The Mood, who races in a four-year-old and upwards (non-winners of two) at five furlongs straight.
FAUKLAND does reasonably well over the straight course and with the figure eight on for Sunday’s encounter, plus an outside draw adds a bit of octane to the chances of this four-year-old. Be brave and place FAUKLAND in the exacta, and trifecta wager, and on some place tickets.
