Flying Bullet, Silent Seeker, Miss Caleesi, I’ve Got Magic
KINGSTON, Jamaica – THE QUICK WHISPERER has selected four horses for special wagering scrutiny on the race card of Saturday, March 12, 2022.
FLYING BULLET, a seven-year-old bay gelding races in the third race, which is a five-year-old and upwards claiming contest ($180,000 - $150,000) going five furlongs round. This is the second run by Flying Bullet in this category and once again he faces his most recent conqueror the speedy Fortuneonehundred. However, Flying Bullet emerges from a different barn, that of trainer Steven Todd, which should add a bit to his effort of winning. Buy Flying Bullet to win but place more cash on the exacta box with Fortuneonehundred. Of course, a place in the Reggae 6 would be good.
SILENT SEEKER, a five-year-old bay mare races in the fifth, which is a three-year-old and upwards Optional Claimer ($400,000 - $300,000) at four furlongs. Silent Seeker tried her luck in a higher claiming bracket and was able to finish fourth. Tomorrow she steps down with Anthony Thomas replacing Nicholas Hibbert in the saddle, with the mercurial Dee Danger the main danger. Put Silent Seeker in an Exacta box with Dee Danger and add to that list, Father Riel. A few dollars on Silent Seeker to win is about right.
MISS CALEESI, a three-year-old grey filly races in the sixth, which is a three-year-old maiden special weight call for fillies only travelling 6 ½ furlongs. Miss Caleesi has steadily been progressing and has been put to the test at exercise by her trainer Fitznahum Williams. A better effort is expected from Miss Calessi, but not a winning one, especially with the presence of the highly touted trio of Mila’s All That, She’s Fantastic and the much talked about debutante Nefertari. Put Miss Caleesi in the Trifecta, Superfecta, and the Hi-5 wagers.
I’V GOT MAGIC, a US-bred four-year-old bay colt races in the seventh, which is an Overnight Allowance contest at a distance of 7 ½ furlongs. Seasoned campaigner Crimson is the likely favourite in this event, with I’ve Got Magic trying in this grouping for the second time. THE QUICK WHISPERER is of the view that the race is locked between Crimson and I’ve Got Magic, which is the given exacta on the Saturday card under review.
