Mine That Cat, It’s All I, and Weekend Jazz
KINGSTON, Jamaica – For the Saturday (Jan 29) 10-race card, THE QUICK WHISPERER has chosen three horses to pay special attention to at the betting terminals. The selected horses are MINE THAT CAT, IT’S ALL I, and WEEKEND JAZZ.
MINE THAT CAT races in the fifth with Christopher Mamdeen in the saddle for trainer Carl Anderson. The event itself is a four-year-old and upwards (non-winners of two) call at six furlongs.
Since MINE THAT CAT (TWILIGHT TIME – MEDICAL CAT) released the maiden tag in August of last year, he has not been able to deal effectively with the non-winners of two) category. When MINE THAT CAT won his only race, it was also over six furlongs. The expectation is not for MINE THAT CAT to win, but to hit the board making for wagers in the Trifecta, Superfecta, and Hi-5, a good added possibility. Odds approximately 20-1.
IT’S ALL I, a six-year-old chestnut gelding by TAQARUB – ESTO PERPETUA has his racing engagement in the eighth event. That contest is a three-year-old and upwards Optional Claimer ($400,000 - $300,000) over the five-straight course.
This is a contest in which there are 12 horses and like so many of these races these days any number can play. As such, II'S ALL I, has recorded three wins from 21 career starts, and apart from finishing tenth on January 8, 2022, has always hit the board. IT’S ALL I is a consistent campaigner, who punters can place in any bet of choice including to win. Expect odds of approximately 15-1.
WEEKEND JAZZ is a participant in the tenth offering, which is a five-year-old and upwards (non-winners of four) call going seven furlongs with 13 runners nominated to compete. WEEKEND JAZZ is a five-year-old chestnut horse by ADORE THE GOLD out of KIPLING WEEKEND trained by Phillip Elliott and is to be ridden by Jordan Barrett.
This chestnut horse is more often than not always around at the business end of his racing encounters. WEEKEND JAZZ is a tough and resilient competitor, who can be relied upon to give his best when fit and proper.
WEEKEND JAZZ would prefer a straight run but it is widely accepted that the five straight course at Caymanas Park is about the equivalent of seven furlongs. Watch WEEKEND JAZZ carefully, and place in all bets. Expect odds of about 6-1.
GOOD LUCK FROM THE QUICK WHISPERER!
