4 horses chosen, plus best bets on the day
KINGSTON, Jamaica – After a bumpy ride last weekend, THE QUICK GALLOPER has regrouped and has come up with four horses to watch on the Saturday 10-race card of February 5, 2022.
The four horses are ROCKDALE, ROHAN KABIR, KHOLBEAR, and QUEEN ADELE.
ROCKDALE races in the first, which is a five-year-old and upwards Claimer ($180,000 - $130,000) at 3 ½ furlongs with the added qualification of horses who have not earned $130,000 since October 5, 2021.
This is the rock bottom of the horses available to race at this time, and, as such, logic and proper handicapping can be thrown out of the window.
ROCKDALE has been fairly consistent in his last four races and does have some speed which should assist going this short trip. He races with the blinkers off and the visor on.

ROHAN KABIR races in the fifth, which is a high claiming ($1 million - $800,000) contest for three-year-old and upwards horses at five furlongs straight.
This six-year-old chestnut gelding has been a model of consistency in his previous seven starts but has not raced over the straight course since September 4, 2021. ROHAN KABIR finished fourth, 4 ½ lengths behind Let Him Fly seven days ago going seven furlongs, and while he faces tough rivals his consistency can pay off for punters.
Place ROHAN KABIR in the Exacta, Quinella, Trifecta, Superfecta, Hi-5, and Reggae 6.
KHOLBEAR races in the sixth, which is a five-year-old and upwards call (non-winners of four races) going six furlongs.
This five-year-old bay gelding has hit the board in eight of his last 10 efforts which is a testament to his reliability. KHOLBEAR races for the first time in this grade but his steadiness should see him placing again if not winning to make it two in a row.
KHOLBEAR should be bought as a place wager and in the Exacta, Trifecta, and Superfecta. Kotch some cash on some win tickets as well.
QUEEN ADELE races in the eighth, which is a four-year-old maiden event at five furlongs straight.
Of the eight runners in this race, QUEEN ADELE is the most experienced with 17 starts under her girth. This chestnut filly has proven to be quite consistent and based on those runs, she is given an excellent chance of winning. Yes, this is a race in which any number can play which is why the past efforts of QUEEN ADELE are going to resonate.
